I mean, of course a 5 year old will not express academics (i.e. spelling) as well as as someone that is 20 or older...but, when is the threshold??...when does a person become an adult and take on the responsibility of an adult...especially an educated adult?
Here is the scenario...an educated individual working for an education-related company sent an e-mail riddled with words that were not spelled correctly. I made the comment that I cannot believe that a person that is supposedly educated would send an email as such...anyway, my friend (who is usually super critical) made comment that she was only about 28...as if that made it okay!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it okay to be 28 and send e-mails with misspelled words? OR, is it only okay until 35? 40? When?
Here are some other age things that make me wonder...
Is there an age limit connected to...
- Partying
- Living with your parents
- Spending your parents' money
- Buying a house
- Getting married
- Going to college
- Being respectful
- Ordering your own food at a restaurant
- Doing laundry
- Buying a car
- Banking
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...is age really a factor? Aren't we all the same relative age? I am sure I could right an equation for that...:)
