~Tough Times!`

I had somewhat of a rough weekend...nothing that won't pass with time, I suppose. It seems, though, if bad luck is to be had...then it is definitely to be had by me! I always feel that a person determines his/her own fate, but sometimes the unexpected happens and that fate is changed.

I do think that my weekend was rough, but in comparison to what others are going through, my weekend was "lame" (as my 6 year old would say)!!! I definitely think that you are only given what you can handle, so if someone thinks that I am strong enough to handle my recent events...then, I will roll with the punches...get back up and jump in the game of life again!

My dad used to have a bumper sticker on his truck with this quote:
"Tough times don't last, but tough people do!"

I always loved that quote...it was geared to the events of the economy in the 80s, but could also be associated with my stream of bad luck.

Well, if nothing else I found some fabulous songs this weekend...downloading them into my phone now (the phone I dropped in the water the first day I had it). On somewhat of a country kick right now...
