Calming...

The weather today is beautiful.

I always enjoy rain, cooler weather and dark skies. It seems like when I can handle nothing else, a peaceful, cloudy sky calms my thoughts and soothes my soul.

The past week was hectic and hard and filled with chaos and drama...but, today there is a renewed energy, a spirit that has calmed my thoughts and actions.

It is a new day. Positive, calm energy will prevail.

Anyway...

Some days are better than others...today was hectic and frustrating at times, but there are certain people that provide sanity and make me believe that each day is a gift and that I should be thankful for each moment. One such person sent me this poem last week...I love it! It's one of my faves! Always makes me think...

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
